Mediation
As a trained mediator I offer a neutral space to clarify issues, target each parties goals and set a path towards a mutually beneficial agreement. Ground rules set for each mediation session allow for a safe opportunity to air concerns and grievances.
Working with legal counsel is often a part of mediation, either to review an agreement or file the agreement. Legal counsel does not indicate a battle, merely seeing expert guidance on a serious legal matter.
Process
We’ll start with an intake call for an overview of the situation and set a date for a session.
At the start of the session I set ground rules for conduct. Upon completion I offer a draft to each party to be signed and the signed agreement can be filed by the client or given to legal counsel to review and/or file.
I do not offer legal advice and suggest parties engaged in mediation seek legal counsel prior to legally filing a divorce agreement.
Pricing
2 hour session: $300 (typically (but not always) split between the parties).
